The lamplight tugged his eyes open at last. Blearily, his brain lurched into action once more, fighting him every step of the way towards actual conscious thought; last night was still one big candy-colored blur. The mixer, the dance floor... His every sinew was begging him to stretch his legs, yawn, anything - but he didn't dare move. Not once he saw who was cuddled up next to him.

Sure is limber, he thought, and the first pale flicker of proof that followed was already too much to recall.

Kuroneko winked back at him, wide awake. Grinning.

"Nya."
